– from the Hamburg, Hanover, Kassel, Würzburg, Ulm area:

A7-exit Füssen, Bundesstr.310 to border Pinswang or A95-exit Garmisch, Bundesstr.24 to border Griessen. Continue on the Österr. Bundesstr. 314 to Reutte and on the Staatsstr. 198 to Elbigenalp.

– From the Lake Constance area:

Austrian road 200 (Bregenzer Wald) over the Hochtannberg pass to Warth, then Austrian road 198 to Steeg to Elbigenalp.

By train
Deutsche Bundesbahn via Ulm-Kempten to Reutte station. Via Munich and Garmisch also to Reutte. Continue with Postbus.

Langen am Arlberg railway station, continue with Postbus via Lech-Zürs to Warth (only possible in summer).
